The new way of creating Brand Names

The genesis of Quensis dates back 20 years.

In the mid-eighties, Jean-Philippe Hermand, a scientist and linguist by training, became interested in the subject of "naming". He realized that legal restrictions would become a key issue in brand name creation, a foresight that was visionary at the time.

Jean-Philippe's realization was the basis for Quensis, leading to the development of a new computer technology. In its finished form, it revolutionizes the process of name creation by fusing legal screening with the process of creative development.

Since 1996, the Quensis technology and methodology has been developed, retooled, and employed in the French market. Perhaps the most notable partnership is with France's leading design agency, Dragon Rouge, working for its principal clients.

In 2006, Jean-Philippe Hermand created Quensis with Delphine Parlier, a communications professional, to take to a global level the destiny of his breakthough technology.

Since then, Quensis has partnered with branding agencies in Europe, the United States, and the Middle East. In France, Quensis also works directly for entreprises and entrepreneurs. Lastly, Quensis has been developing its pharma business since 2007.

Keeping their spirit of innovation, Quensis has kept evolving the technology and methodology, bringing to life new tools to better meet agency and pharma constraints.
